Calling All Future Historians:

Help Us Create a Time Capsule!

How cool would it be to send a message to a kid 50 years in the future?

To celebrate America 250, the Stockton Township Public Library is creating a special Time Capsule that will be sealed and kept safe for the next 50 years!

We want you to be a part of it.

We have special "All About Me" info sheets available at the circulation desk. We’re asking our local youth to fill them out so that, when the capsule is opened in 2076, future Stockton residents can see what life was like for kids just like you in 2026!

What we want to know: What are your favorite songs, movies, and foods right now? What do you want to be when you grow up? What is your favorite place in Stockton? And—most importantly—what do you hope the world looks like in 50 years?

How to participate:

1️⃣ Stop by the library: Pick up your info sheet at the front desk.

2️⃣ Get Creative: Fill it out, answer the questions, and show off your very best handwriting!

3️⃣ Submit: Drop it back off to us by July 30th.

We already have our first submissions, and it’s going to be such a fun piece of history to look back on.

Don’t miss your chance to leave your mark!
